At Maryville Little League, a non-profit organization, we believe in the power of community. Our league thrives on the dedication and enthusiasm of volunteers like you. We are always on the lookout for individuals willing to lend their time and skills to ensure our young athletes have a fantastic experience. Opportunities abound, whether you're interested in being a Manager (Head Coach), Coach, Team Parent, Umpire, or Scorekeeper.

How to Get Started as a Volunteer:

1. Account Creation: Visit our homepage and click the Login or Register link at the top right corner. Select your desired volunteer position and follow the easy registration steps. Rest assured, if you have a child in the league, they will be automatically placed on your team.
   
2. Initial Contact: Once registered, expect a member of our team to reach out to you by mid-February with further details.
3. Safety First - Background Checks: To ensure a safe environment for all, we conduct background checks on all volunteers involved in practices and/or games. You will be asked to provide your driver's license and social security number during registration for this purpose.
4. Member Dues: A nominal fee of $5 is required for annual Member Dues. This helps us cover the cost of background checks and maintain our standards for child safety.
5. Mandatory Training:
   • Concussion Awareness: Complete the CDC Concussion Training, as required by the State of Tennessee.

   • Cardiac Safety: Undertake the NFHS Sudden Cardiac Arrest Training to be prepared for any emergencies on the field.

   • Abuse Awareness: Complete the NFHS Protecting Students from Abuse to assist in creating a safe and enjoyable environment for students.

6. Certificate Submission: Remember to submit both your Concussion, Cardiac, and Abuse Training certificates to your Division Commissioner before the season begins.
